With a career originating in the Construction and Property industry in Perth at the age of 21, Jess has a background that began in Retail Design and Architecture. After three years as a Graduate Architect at Cameron Chisholm Nicol, Jess relocated to London in 2008, and shifted Construction-side delivering logistically complex Commercial Office and Workplace projects in central London and Reading.
Upon returning to Perth in 2011, Jess joined CBRE Project Management, continuing to focus on Workplace, Commercial Office and Retail project delivery.
In her time at CBRE, Jess fulfilled the roles of State Director for Project Management in Western Australia, was part of the Pacific Project Management Leadership team, and was an Executive Committee member for the broader CBRE Western Australian business.
Jess has been responsible for the delivery of a wide range of projects for CBRE clients, including Small and Large Format Retail, Commercial Office Development and Refurbishment, Commercial Office Fitout, Workplace and Change assignments.
Spanning her 13 years at CBRE Project Management, Jess has worked closely with clients within the Natural Resources, Oil and Gas, Finance and Legal sectors. Jess has extensive experience in AFL negotiation and administration, project initiation, procurement, design, construction and contract administration, and operational readiness.
Jess is a consummate professional who takes pride in getting to know her clients, to appreciate their business drivers, and adapt the project’s processes to accommodate the complexities of business as usual requirements.
She enjoys developing a collaborative and fun project culture, with the intent to create an outstanding project outcome and an overall experience that is memorable for all the right reasons.
In addition to her responsibilities in the project management field, Jess is an active ambassador for people development, reconciliation, sustainability and inclusion.
